Generación Perdida

Generación Perdida, based on the book by the Mexican poet, and journalist Javier Moro Hernandez, is a monodrama for mezzo-soprano about the more than 100,000 people who have been forcibly disappeared as a direct result of the futile war on drugs. The wok is a blend of journalistic accounts and poetry that tells a haunting narrative about the violence experienced by millions of people in our native Mexico. The work had a piano vocal performance at Opera America in March  2023.
