“Hudson/Catskill Housing Coalition (HCHC) is a Black-lead initiative that empowers public housing and low-income tenants to fight for housing justice…We believe that treating housing as a human right in is a form of investment in human and community life that can fundamentally transform society…HCHC’s work is to create the foundations of a comprehensive, grassroots approach to fight against gentrification and displacement in Hudson and Catskill [New York State]…We educate and empower folks to fight with and for their neighbors because collective, grassroots power dismantles systemic injustice.”
